About This Video Blog
The last Siddha Kavi of the Panchasakha era, Parsuram Bihari, was a unique ascetic from Jajpur. This worldly ascetic, who meditated on the Mahagiri hills, took the venerable Shri Mahagirischandra with him and preached the Bhagavad Gita in every nook and corner of Odisha, along with Maliki, Bhajans, Jnan, Poi, Gita, and the Siddhi Marg of spiritual meditation.
Among his meditations, Brahmaparche Gita, Vatika Nakshala Gita and thousands of hymns are being preached in public today.
"The cow named Kapila is always young", "Radhika said, "Duti Gow Mata Jaar Keen", "I want to take refuge in the feet of the elephant", "Bhagavata Bhajan Mala", Sri Bhagavata thought that Bhavaru Tari, - etc. are the main ones. Many of his literary talents are still hidden in the Talasani books. It is a matter of shame for every Odia person that such a sage of Odia language literature lives on in the tradition of his disciples as a perfect sage and is known as a poet, a poet, a poet, a future speaker, but is neglected in the field of Odia literature.
His descendants are now living in Jajpur, Kalashri Gopalpur, Bhubaneswar Pur, Kuninda, Baikuntha Pur, Rambagachak for ten generations. We remember him only during the celebration of his Shraddha anniversary. I wish that the government will bring this neglected poet to the public. Jai Jagannath.
