About This Video Blog
According to popular belief, the relationship between Shri Shri Maa Birja and Mahaprabhu Shri Jagannath is like that of mother and son. Maa Birja is the supreme power, the original energy of the entire universe and the inspirer of Brahma, Vishnu, and Maheshwar.
According to legend, every evening Mahaprabhu Shri Jagannath comes to Maa Birja's abode for darshan. Maa Birja also goes some distance with Shri Sri Jagannath to see him off with due respect and when he returns, Maa Birja says in farewell speech, "You have gone." In reply, Mahaprabhu says, "Yes, Maa, I have gone."
It is believed that the name "Gal-Gali" has been introduced from this divine speech.
There is a legend that this divine event took place at the Mandakini Setu near Shankha village under Patuniya Panchayat of Dharmashala Block, Jajpur District, which is known as "Gal-Gali Setu".
Come, enjoy our small effort based on this holy legend. If you like the video, please Like, Share and Subscribe.
